Youth Rally held to Celebrate National Youth Day 2024

Thursday 31 October 2024: In the morning, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Labor and Employment and Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh inaugurated the Youth Rally organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Department  of Youth Development in front of the Roller Skating Complex in Dhaka. .
Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Rezaul Maqchud Zahedi, Director General of Youth Development Department (Grade-1). Gazi Md Saifuzzaman was present on the occasion. 

Participants of the youth rally: officials and employees of ministries and departments, youth trainees, self-employed, entrepreneurs, youth organizers and others.
 



 
Under the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, ‘National Youth Day-2024’ will be celebrated across the country including the capital through various programs. This year the theme of the day has been set as ‘Skillful youth will build the country, Bangladesh without discrimination.’

A colorful rally was taken out after the inauguration. The rally started from the Roller Skating Complex, passed through the Secretariat, passed through the High Court area and ended at the Secretariat via the Fisheries Building. Every year 1st November is observed as National Youth Day. On this year’s Youth Day, 15 youths will be given National Youth Awards for their special achievements.

Also, a youth fair will be held at Bangla Academy from November 2 to 8. Products produced by youth entrepreneurs from all over the country will be exhibited and sold there.
