WORX Co-Working, Sri Lanka’s leading network of co-working spaces, has partnered with Lime & Co Hostel to launch its fifth location in Midigama. This expansion marks a significant milestone, making WORX the largest co-working provider in the country and reinforcing its commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s growing remote work community.

Midigama is fast emerging as a top destination for surf tourism, attracting travellers who spend months riding its world-class reef breaks and waves. With Sri Lanka’s year-round surf seasons drawing in an increasing number of long-term visitors, the demand for professional co-working spaces in the South has never been higher.

Managing Director of WORX Co-Working, Azahn Munas expressed, “ As Sri Lanka’s tourism landscape evolves, we’re seeing a surge in remote professionals seeking well-equipped workspaces during their extended stays. Partnering with Lime & Co allows us to merge our expertise in co-working with their hospitality experience, creating a unique work-and-stay experience in Midigama. With this launch, WORX proudly becomes the largest co-working provider in Sri Lanka, extending our footprint beyond Colombo to meet the needs of a new generation of global workers.”

Strategically located just two minutes from the pristine Midigama Beach, the new Lime & Co-Working space is designed to offer the perfect balance of productivity and relaxation. With 25 desks available, the space caters to freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small teams, offering high-speed, unlimited Wi-Fi and a well-equipped work environment.

An added highlight is the on-site café by Zippi, providing freshly brewed coffee, tea, and light snacks. This creates an inviting atmosphere for networking, collaboration, and much-needed breaks amidst a day’s work.

The collaboration between WORX and Lime & Co brings together the best of both worlds: a professional, well-equipped workspace within a relaxed, community-driven hostel setting. With its vibrant social culture and proximity to some of Sri Lanka’s best surf spots, Lime & Co-Working is an ideal hub for digital nomads seeking both productivity and adventure.

Beyond co-working, Lime & Co-Working is a dynamic venue for pop-ups, workshops, and networking events, fostering connections among entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals. This space is set to become a key gathering point for the region’s growing digital nomad and expat community.

With Midigama, Mirissa, Weligama, and Ahangama rapidly evolving into hotspots for remote workers, WORX’s newest co-working space is poised to meet the increasing demand for flexible, well-equipped workspaces in Sri Lanka’s South Coast.
