The much-anticipated Women in Tech Conference 3.0, organized by SLASSCOM in collaboration with the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), successfully concluded on March 20, 2025, at Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. Drawing over 280 participants, the event brought together a vibrant mix of industry professionals, aspiring tech talent, corporate leaders, and advocates, all united by a shared vision for a more inclusive and equitable technology sector.

This year’s conference served as a timely platform to address critical issues surrounding gender equity, leadership, and workplace transformation in the tech industry. Through powerful keynotes, expert-led sessions, and collaborative discussions, the event shed light on both the challenges and the opportunities in building a more diverse and forward-thinking workforce.

The keynote address was delivered by Ms. Barbara Wray, CIO at LSEG Regulatory Reporting Technology, Post Trade at LSEG, on “Leading the Digital Revolution: Adapt & Thrive.” Her powerful message underscored how digital transformation can only succeed when paired with inclusive leadership, innovation, and the empowerment of diverse talent.

The agenda featured two thought-provoking panel discussions that sparked engaging conversations on advancing women in leadership roles and implementing inclusive policies in the workplace. Industry experts shared real-world experiences, practical strategies, and actionable insights to help organizations and individuals embrace equity as a catalyst for innovation and sustainable growth.

More than just a forum for dialogue, the conference created a dynamic space for networking, mentorship, and collaboration, fostering meaningful connections among professionals at various stages of their careers. The energy and enthusiasm throughout the day reflected a collective commitment to shaping the future of tech through diversity and inclusion.

The success of Women in Tech Conference 3.0 was made possible through the valuable support of its partners: Hexaware Technologies as Gold Sponsor, Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) as Education Partner, Intrepid Group as Sustainability Partner, Ticket Gadget as Official Travel Partner, Thyaga as Gift Partner, and Parenthood as Ecosystem Partner.
