“We Summit 2021” ended with a pledge to spread the successful story of women’s self-reliance.

At the Bangabandhu International Conference Center Hall of Fame in the Capital on 23 October, with more than a thousand WE entrepreneurs from across the country participating, guests at various sessions of the summit expressed hope for more marginal work to make women self-reliant as part of women’s empowerment.

Fifty / 50 successful women entrepreneurs in various categories were honored with ” Joyee  Awards” at the WE Summit. Foreign Minister A K Abdul Momen was the chief guest at the closing program & State Minister of ICT Division Zunaed Ahmed Palak lead this ceremony.  Also presents  Ariful Hasan Apu, Founder of Bangladesh Innovation Forum, Khwaja Shahriar, Managing Director of LankaBangla Finance Limited, Soumya Basu, President and CEO of Silkok Global, Nasima Akter Nisha, Founder and President of Women & E Commerce Forum (WE).

Also present on the occasion were ministry of liberation War Affairs Minister A K M Mozammel Huq,  Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel, Syed Alamgir, MD and CEO of Akij Ventures Limited, NM Ziaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, ICT Division, Tamanna Nusrat Bubli, MP.
Foreign Minister in the speech of the chief guest. AK Abdul Momen said, We set a unique example of women’s empowerment in today’s Bangladesh. I am amazed at the success of our marginalized women and our government will be more supportive of you. 
State Minister for Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP said, We, the ICT Division, have always been supportive of WE’s path, and I am delighted to have you at such a large summit. All the cooperation of our government will always be there for you.
Managing Director of Lankabangla Finance Limited Khwaja Shahriar said, We are glad to have the opportunity to be by your side through this event of Lankabangla Finance Limited. We will continue to support women entrepreneurs.
In the other part of the day, morning in the workshop titled “Why business planning is so important”, Prof. Dr.  Yusuf Abdullah read the main article,  Also present as guests were Nusrat Lopa, Founder of Hur Nusrat, Shahidul Munir, President of Bangladesh Computer Society, Md. Md. Senior Assistant Vice President of LankaBangla Finance Limited Md. Nurul Islam.
