The All Sri Lanka Uva Provincial Open Badminton Championship organized by the Uva Provincial Badminton Association under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Badminton will be held at Bandarawela St. Thomas Indoor Sports Complex from 16th to the 20th of this month.
The championship will see events being conducted under a number of age groups and categories, under 13, under 15, under 17 and under 19 boys singles, doubles, girls singles, doubles and mixed doubles in junior classes and senior categories from Over 30 to Over 70.
All these events will contribute towards the national rankings and all winners, runners -up and semi finalists of the championship will be awarded prize money, certificates, trophies and medals.
Mr. Rohan De Silva, President of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) will be Chief Guest at the finals and awards ceremony on the final day.
