Samaraweera a veteran hotelier in Sri Lanka with over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, has dedicated himself for the betterment of the industry. He served as the Chairman of the Institute of Hospitality Sri Lanka Branch for three consecutive terms from 2017/2018 to 2019/2020 demonstrating his commitment to advancing the profession.
Throughout his career, he has held key positions in various countries, showcasing his expertise and leadership such as Oasis Club Adma, Abu Dhabi, Novotel Center Hotel (Accor) Abu Dhabi and Sofitel Dubai.
His extensive background and dedication make him a valuable asset to the industry and a respected figure among his peers.
