The Fortress, Balumgala – Kadugannawa’s first luxury boutique villa, partners with oDoc to offer guests of the luxury boutique villa access to over 450 medical professionals during their stay.
The oDoc app initially launched as a technology platform that allowed businesses to grant their employees unlimited access to high-quality remote healthcare, at the push of a button. The partnership with Rome Hotels & Resorts now aims to offer guests the same access to Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) registered doctors and healthcare professionals for video consultation and audio consultation through their smartphone.
Speaking with K. Sumithrarachchi – Director, Rome Hotels & Resorts, with regards to the implementation of the oDoc app throughout the properties, he noted “Given recent unprecedented times, it is of paramount importance that we take care of our guest health & safety. Whilst we are in accordance with international standards for COVID-19 safety, as well as local government regulations, we understand how important it is to provide guests with efficient and easily accessible, medical services, thus the partnership with oDoc. Through the addition of such measures, we continue to build and uplift the trust placed in Sri Lanka’s travel & tourism, whilst hoping that other hotels too will come aboard with such initiatives.”
