The first edition of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit and Business Excellence Awards was held in Singapore

The first edition of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit and Business Excellence Awards was held at the Millennium Hotel in Singapore with the participation of nearly 250 guests with South African High Commissioner in Singapore Ms. Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe.  About 15 institutions from Sri Lanka participated in this event, which was held grandly with the participation of 250 people from different countries including South Africa, England, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and other countries in the Commonwealth region. The South African High Commissioner in Singapore, Her Excellence, Ms. Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe participated as the Chief Guest, and  Venerable Prof. Gunarathana Thera from Sri Lankaramaya in Singapore, and diplomats officials from several high commission offices, including the Sri Lankan High Commission in Singapore, also participated as special guests and Mr. Yasantha Yaddehige on behalf of Sri Lankan Ambassador to Singapore, Mrs. Rukshana Afzal, High Commissioner of Pakistan in Singapore and Many guests including Member of Parliament, Sri Lanka JC Alavathuwala & SLFP Propaganda Secretary Mr. Thisara Gunasinghe participated from Sri Lanka as special invitees.

Many businessmen, financial industry C-level executives, and politicians from the Commonwealth countries participated in the event. The second edition of the Commonwealth Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2024 is scheduled to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa in August 2024.
