Sysco LABS recently celebrated “Blueprint 2020,” a special event bringing together more than 450 employees at the Hilton Colombo Residences. The organization reflected on the achievements and transformation it has seen over the past few years since its acquisition by foodservice leader Sysco, as well as its plans for the future.
The key focus area for Sysco LABS’ roadmap was developing a “Customer First” approach through “Precision Engineering,” as a vehicle for transforming the foodservice industry.
The organization also celebrated its engineering awards; honoring teams who were recognized by the industry at the SLASSCOM Innovation Awards, as well as awarding their own “Hall of Fame,” “Intrapreneur” and “Special Recognition” awards for 2019. Employees who have been dedicated to the organization for five and ten years also were recognized at this event with “Long Service” awards.
