Sri Lanka’s response to COVID-19 has been very proactive, quickly identifying and reacting to early cases and implementing strong safety measures. Early signs are positive with no evidence of rapidly increasing community transmission.
In these difficult times, Swivel Group operations have been aligned with government regulations and recommendations. The health and safety of our people will always be our priority. Our team rapidly transitioned to working from home arrangements, individuals were strongly encouraged to isolate where necessary and international travel was postponed.
Swivel Group is in a strong position. Our business model is aligned with a remote workforce, with previously established processes and capabilities to ensure continuity. Our entire team continues to work with a high-level of productivity, serving our global clients. Given the nature of our industry and the current times, agility and connectivity is a must. We have daily scrum meetings, video conferencing and communicate regularly to ensure our team are well supported and business continues as usual. Our team are effective in or out of the office.
Looking forward, business sentiment is positive. The market is shifting towards finding efficiencies to ensure business continuity and prevention of loss. Swivel Group is well placed to provide for this evolution and support businesses with their transition. The outsourcing model continues to evolve, and we are constantly looking to improve the accessibility of remote teams and our client’s experience.
