Diversified conglomerate Sunshine Holdings (CSE: SUN) was conferred with the Silver award for Best Investor Relations at the recently-concluded CFA Sri Lanka Capital Market Awards 2019, the annual flagship event of the CFA Society Sri Lanka.
For the ‘Best Investor Relations’ award, 16 companies were shortlisted based on the strength of their investor relation practices. Accessibility of management, quality, transparency and fairness in their disclosures and the company’s reaction to reports that are not necessarily favourable were some of the attributes evaluated by an expert panel of judges. Sunshine Holdings’ efforts towards maintaining effective and transparent two-way communications with the investment community through different communication channels were honoured at the awards ceremony.
