December 20, 2017: For the first time in Sri Lanka, popular online food portal MyChef.lk together with Crysbro has launched a Cookathon for the foodies and aspiring chefs in the cyberspace.
First of its kind, the competition is open to all Sri Lankan Facebook users and serves as a platform for the same to showcase their culinary skills.
Prizes worth of Rs.175, 000 await winners of the Cookathon and interested parties can join the contest simply by sending in a recipe they swear by – ideally an original recipe or one that has been passed down from generation to generation – along with a photograph or video of said dish prepared and photographed to perfection.
The competition will be judged by a panel of judges based on the quality of the recipe, its uniqueness and originality. Entries should be submitted via the MyChef.lk Facebook page before January 31, 2018 and all pictures should be in JPG or PNG format.
