Sunday, February 25th the Sri Lanka Wonder of Asia IRONMAN 70.3 Colombo commenced at 615am. With 880 participants from 63 countries taking on the challenge. The race began with a 1.9km swim on Galle Face, followed by a 90km three- loop through the Colombo Port and Marine Drive and finishing with a two-loop half marathon through the Colombo Port that ended at Galle Face Green.
The flat and fast course through the bustling Colombo city, was enjoyed by both the participants and spectators, with the race concluding at 3pm. find below the winners list in the solo category:
