Children are filled with energy and hope and they grow every day reimagining the best ways to reach for their goals. With COVID-19 bringing significant challenges to everyone, Children have been confined to homes, limiting their day-to-day playful activities.
Understanding these challenges, SLT-MOBITEL took prompt measures to provide children the fun and entertainment they deserve on World Children’s Day by organizing an Online Kidz Day Carnival. The event featured renowned celebrities such as Sachini Nipunsala, Clifford Richard and Dilan Senanayake.
Over 30,000 Children took part in the event via Zoom, YouTube, and Facebook from across Sri Lanka and kids were able to interact live online. The event included a wide variety of entertaining activities for children including song and dance competitions as well as educational and fun games. SLT-MOBITEL supported a number of these games by presenting the winners with special prizes.
