SLT-MOBITEL Powers ‘Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya’ as Official Telecommunication Partner for the 2nd consecutive year

 



 

 

 

SLT-MOBITEL partnered with the ‘Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya’ 2022, the annual cycling event organised by the Sri Lanka Air Force, as the Official Telecommunications Partner for the second consecutive year.

As Sri Lanka Air Force celebrated its 71st Anniversary, the ‘Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya 2022’ commemorated its 23rd edition, bringing together the country’s top cyclists.

As the Official Telecommunications Partner, SLT-MOBITEL is proud to partner the world-class, ‘Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya 2022’ empowering athletes and supporting young talents to unlock their fullest potential while enabling fans to stay connected throughout the race delivering an unforgettable experience.

The three-day men’s event was held from 4-6 March, covering 411 kms and a special women’s cycling event was also organised on 6th of March, coinciding with the World Women’s Day which falls on 8th march with a total distance of 99.6 kms.  An awards ceremony was held to celebrate the winners and recognise the contestants. SLT-MOBITEL also honoured the achievements and persistence of women participants and their contribution to the sporting realm.
