SLT-MOBITEL, The National ICT Solutions Provider has joined hands with Hatton National Bank on a nation-building exercise, ‘Rata Dinana Singiththo’, a unique value proposition conceptualized by Hatton National Bank to empower the children of migrant workers.
As Sri Lanka faces numerous challenges especially on the economic and social fronts, the migrant workers play a crucial role in contributing towards the betterment of the nation’s economy. In recognition of the untiring service and commitment rendered by migrant workers and their families in Sri Lanka, HNB together with HNB Assurance and SLT-MOBITEL as primary partners launched Rata Dinanan Singiththo, Under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment, Ministry of Labor and Foreign Employment and Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
The program will run as a national-level competition to encourage the children of the migrant workers whilst rewarding their talents in the fields of art and literature such as painting, dancing, singing, and essay writing.
