SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, has secured five top honours at the National Project Management Excellence (NPME) Awards 2023, showcasing advancements in technology, cutting-edge innovation, and the ability to drive change. The NPME Conference and Awards 2023, hosted by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Sri Lanka Chapter took place at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo recently.

The PMI Sri Lanka Chapter is the official charter of the Project Management Institute, USA. PMI is the world’s leading professional association for the project, program, and portfolio management profession.

The company received awards for its outstanding achievements and advancements in various sectors such as robotics, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, education, research, agriculture, and livestock development.

SLT-MOBITEL, The Embryo Innovation Center was adjudged the winner in the category for the Best Managed Project in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for the Raccoon AI Solution. This innovative business intelligence (BI) platform uses advanced machine learning and predictive analytics to empower businesses to extract actionable insights from their data. The platform’s algorithms identify patterns and trends, offering predictions for future trends, thereby aiding businesses in optimizing operations and making informed decisions.

SLT-MOBITEL was also declared the winner for the Best Managed Project in Telecommunications Sector. The winning project, the Omnichannel Experience for Customers and Customer Touch Points, redefines customer engagement by seamlessly connecting them across multiple communication channels. This customer-centric initiative enables effortless transitions between platforms, ensuring continuity of conversations and an enhanced interaction experience.

Adding another accolade, SLT-MOBITEL was judged the winner of the Best Managed Project in Academic/Education and/or Research Sector. SLT-MOBITEL’s Talent Development centres garnered recognition for its successful implementation of new infrastructure developments to run futuristic educational programs that are aligned with the future job market. This expansion and repositioning reinforce the institute’s prominence in education.

The SLT-MOBITEL government business division received the Runner-up award for the best managed project in government sector for the ‘Contact Center Solution for the National Water Supply and Drainage Board’. The solution empowered NWSDB customer engagement through a 24/7 information help desk and innovative technologies.

Furthermore, SLT-MOBITEL, The Embryo Innovation Center secured yet another distinction with the Runner-up prize for ‘Best Managed Project in Agriculture and Livestock Development Sector, for the Fazenda Smart Agro Solution. This digitalized solution enables farmers to monitor vital parameters of plantations, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making regarding fertilizer application.

These awards highlight SLT-MOBITEL’s continuous commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and technological advancement.
