SLT-MOBITEL, as the national ICT solutions provider, was the proud Platinum Sponsor for the 41st National IT Conference (NITC) 2023, held recently, organized jointly by the Ministry of Technology and the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL).
The prestigious event took place at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo, recently. Attending the conference were industry practitioners and academics who were able to be updated on technological advances, interact with thought leaders in the field, and connect with peers.

Mohan Ajitkumar, Senior Manager eChannelling PLC, discussed the topic ‘Telehealth – Expanding Healthcare Accessibility’ while Anuradha Udunuwara, Senior Engineer SLT-Solution Support (SME) spoke on ‘Fostering Innovation and Investment for Sri Lanka’s Digital Transformation’
Supporting and joining in industry events such as the NITC demonstrates SLT-MOBITEL’s commitment to the growth and development of the information technology sector in Sri Lanka. Additionally, participating in the NITC offered SLT-MOBITEL the opportunity to connect with industry peers, potential customers, and experts.
The NITC is recognised as the country’s flagship ICT conference. It had evolved since its inception in 1981 promoting the growth and development of the information and communication technology sector. Over the years, it has evolved in step with technological advancements, making it one of the most distinguished IT gatherings in the region.
This year, NITC 2023 also aligned with the government’s National Digital Economy Acceleration Initiative ‘DigiEcon 2030.’ The conference aimed to showcase recent ICT developments and facilitate knowledge dissemination. It provided an opportunity for the ICT community to learn from local and international experts.
The conference featured presentations on the latest advancements and diverse perspectives from keynote speakers, addressing various ICT areas. The conference fostered discussions on a wide range of subjects, embracing the theme.
