The refurbishment reflects the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing’s (SLIM) dedication to delivering a high-quality education and learning experience supported by cutting-edge infrastructure. The new campus design even incorporates a “greenery concept,” which creates a refreshing and inspiring atmosphere for students. Smart classrooms, a free library, a members’ lounge, and a student recreation area are among the many upgrades. Additionally, introducing an on-campus café provides a vibrant space for students to collaborate, unwind, and recharge.

With the new upgrades and changes, SLIM Campus Kandy embodies SLIM’s enduring commitment to sustainability and inclusivity. Integrating eco-conscious design and an environment that prioritises student wellbeing, the campus takes a futuristic approach to education. This initiative marks the beginning of a nationwide expansion of SLIM Campuses, starting with the reopening of SLIM Campus Kandy, which will serve as a model for future developments.”

With a legacy stretching back to 1970 and formal incorporation by an act of Parliament in 1980, SLIM has built a strong reputation as Sri Lanka’s apex body representing the marketing fraternity. Having served the industry diligently for nearly 55 years, it has led impactful initiatives, including the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards and SLIM-Kantar People’s Awards, positioning itself as a marketing champion and an integral part of business philosophy.
