Establishing lucrative connections in the international market for Sri Lankan IT-BPM companies by connecting and introducing potential clients and cementing them with a monetary incentive for both parties, SLASSCOM recently utilized their Global Referral Programme (GRP)to build mutually beneficial business relationships in France.
The webinar was conducted by SLASSCOM in tandem with the Embassy of France with the attendance of the Prof Kshanika Hirimburegama Ambassador Designate to French Republic.The event was attended by an engaging audience comprising of Sri Lankans living and working in France.
Presentations giving an insight into the Island of Ingenuity industry brand and it’s value systems that included creativity, innovation, agility and collaboration were presented by Cassandra Mascarenhas (Work Stream Head) who highlighted that Sri Lanka’s IT BPM industry had a robust and niche talent base with vertical specialization capacity and a strong industry foundation.
Shehan Selvanayagam Co-Head of the SLASSCOM Global Trade and Investment Forum explained the benefits of the Global Referral Programme and SLASSCOM’s role in acting as the facilitator in getting leads in the respective markets and arranging networking opportunities, as well as tracking and assisting the progress cementing the deals made.
With a dedicated team at SLASSCOM spearheading the program, ensuring that the necessary networking opportunities are provided and in facilitating targeted and optimal funnelling of new business opportunities, this webinar was another opportunity provided to Sri Lankan IT BPM companies to connect with lucrative business opportunities in France.
Participated by large plethora of professionals from a range of industry segments in France, the event had a highly interactive Q&A session followed by a virtual networking where participants openly discussed collaborations and initiated pathways towards mutually beneficial business engagements .
