
The winners of the SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Award 2024 (SNIA) achieved remarkable success, with four groundbreaking digital solutions from Sri Lanka standing out in a highly competitive field at the World Summit Awards (WSA) this year. These solutions were selected from a pool of 740+ entries submitted by innovators from 182 countries worldwide. Known as the ‘Oscars of Digital Innovation for Social Good,’ the WSA honors transformative digital solutions that aim to improve daily life, enhance government accountability, and tackle global challenges.
This achievement marks a key milestone that reinforces the core mission of SNIA, that of promoting Sri Lankan innovation on the global stage. The recognition of SNIA winners at this prestigious international platform highlights the global competitiveness and relevance of Sri Lankan ingenuity, clearly demonstrating that the winners chosen through the SNIA process are not only exceptional within Sri Lanka but also stand among the world’s leading innovators and reinforcing the country’s growing prominence on the global stage for digital innovation.

ExamHUB, created by FONIX Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, an innovative gamified online exam platform, received recognition as the winner in the Quality Education category at the World Summit Award (WSA).
Curfox, an AI-powered e-commerce delivery management system by Parallax Technologies Pvt Ltd, which enhances delivery success, won the Best Innovative Product/Project in Transportation & Logistics at SNIA 2024. The platform was also nominated for the World Summit Award (WSA).
Oversight, an AI-driven energy management tool focused on sustainability by Syntax Genie, took home the prestigious Best Tech for Good Software Innovation or Product award at SNIA 2024. It was also nominated for the World Summit Award (WSA).
RAIN: The Really Autonomous Irrigation Network, created by Ramiru Wijayasiriwardhane and Amiru Wijayasiriwardhane, students from Ananda College, clinched the top spot in the Young Innovators category at WSA 2024. Their groundbreaking innovations are paving the way for a new era of technology-driven solutions with tangible real-world impact.
This recognition marks an exciting new chapter in the nation’s journey toward becoming a global leader in digital innovation, by demonstrating its potential to lead and inspire others in the pursuit of sustainable, technology-driven social impact.
