This initiative underscores SLASSCOMs commitment to fostering holistic employee well-being and driving a sustainable and inclusive workforce in Sri Lanka.
Well-being- A Critical Priority for the IT/BPO Sector: The IT/ BPO industries are the backbone of Sri Lanka’s knowledge economy, employing thousands of professionals in high-pressure, performance-driven roles. However, the nature of this work often results in physical and mental health challenges such as burnout, stress, and lifestyle-related illnesses due to sedentary workstyles. SLASSCOMs Fit Hit, aims to address these challenges by equipping employees with tools, resources, and knowledge to prioritize their physical and mental well-being. It also fosters a culture of wellness in workplaces, contributing to higher productivity, engagement, and overall job satisfaction.
Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s premier Life Insurer, returns as the title sponsor for Fit Hit for the second consecutive year. The Company’s support reflects a shared vision with SLASSCOM to promote healthier, happier workplaces within the IT/ BPO sectors.
