COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, November 20, 2020 — The strong partnership between Singer Sri Lanka and ASUS has resulted in the advent of 11th generation laptops for the first time ever in Sri Lanka. Singer’s latest introduction of the ASUS laptops with 11th Gen Intel processors come with a two-year global warranty.

The new 11th Gen lineup offers the best processor for thin and light laptops along with brand new features on the Intel TGL platform, thus bringing meaningful technology to life. ASUS’ Intelligent Performance Technology gives an ultimate performance boost of up to 40%, that could intelligently and stably increase CPU performance and maintain all-day-long battery life, while simultaneously ensuring that the laptop remains quieter and cooler throughout the day.

The partnership between ASUS – the global computer hardware giant, and Singer Sri Lanka – the exclusive Large Format Retailer (LFR) marks a true success story in the country’s retail marketing sector. ASUS appointed Singer Sri Lanka as its LFR in the year 2018, and the partnership has, since then, enabled greater and improved accessibility for all ASUS products via what is unarguably Sri Lanka’s largest retail network – comprising over 430 retail outlets including Singer Mega and Singer Plus showrooms.

ASUS is a multinational computer hardware giant whose innovative focus has been in congruence with its vision of surpassing users’ imagination as the world enters a new era of cloud computing. The brand has introduced consumers to a dazzling array of innovative products and it is esteemed as the world’s number one motherboard and gaming laptop brand, as well as one among the top three global consumer notebook vendors.

Under the latest 11th Gen laptop series, ASUS recently launched the ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX425) – one of its key, ultra-portable products that boasts the best user experience along with smart and premium performance. The ZenBook 14 is ultralight – weighing just 1.17 kg, and is 13.9 mm thin. Another stellar feature of this model is its long battery life which lasts for up to 22 hours.

Other outstanding features of this model include the hands-free login with IR camera, the Ergolift hinge and edge-to-edge keyboard for typing comfort, the exclusive number pad 2.0 for an ultimate numeric keypad solution, and the frameless four-sided NanoEdge display with 90 percent screen to body ratio for an uber-immersive experience. Additionally, the ZenBook 14’s USB-C Easy Charge feature allows ultrafast charging.

On the other hand, Singer Sri Lanka – which is also powered by its ecommerce channel www.singer.lk – is at the forefront of the retail segment with a portfolio of over 600 electronic items, 1200 home appliances and more than 50 internationally renowned brands. With over 430 retail outlets, Singer has become a dominant player offering best-in-class after sales services. The company has been adjudged as the premier People’s Brand in Sri Lanka for thirteen consecutive years.

The new 11th Gen Lineup is available in all Singer showrooms across the island, and ASUS is exhilarated to continue this partnership to bring customers the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art products backed by the service excellence that Singer Sri Lanka is widely known for.
