A delegation from Serendib Flour Mills, along with key clientele, attended this year’s event, the 30th edition, which served as a display of global culinary innovation and a strategic platform for building valuable industry connections.
The participation was enhanced through the company’s strategic relationship with Al Ghurair, its parent company in Dubai UAE, which maintains a strong presence across the Gulf region’s food and beverage sector as a regular participant at the exhibition. Serendib Flour Mills also guided their guests to the Al Ghurair stall whose offerings were featured.
As part of the visit, Serendib Flour Mills’ customers toured Al Ghurair’s state-of-the-art production facilities in Jebel Ali, including their advanced wheat flour mill, soybean processing plant, oats production, feed mill and pasta manufacturing facility.
The tour demonstrated the company’s commitment to maintaining world-class hygiene standards and included visits to their impressive storage silos at Jebel Ali Port.
The comprehensive visit enabled Serendib Flour Mills’ customers to experience firsthand the scale and sophistication of the parent company’s operations. From the exhibition to the facility tours, it was an opportunity to understand the complete value chain of Serendib Flour Mills’ products.
Staying true to the mission of ‘Nourishing the Nation’, Serendib Mills utilized this global platform to explore the latest developments in food technology, emerging sustainability trends, and strengthen relationships within the international food industry.
