30th April 2025, Colombo – SANKARAA Tech successfully hosted SANKARAA Connect, the first Oracle NetSuite event in Sri Lanka in over five years—marking a significant return to in-person industry engagement since the pandemic.
The event brought together a vibrant mix of business leaders, technology professionals, and NetSuite users. Under the theme “COMPASS for your Cloud ERP,” SANKARAA Connect served as a strategic navigation point for Sri Lankan businesses looking to embrace cloud-based digital transformation through Oracle NetSuite.
As the exclusive Oracle NetSuite Partner in Sri Lanka since 2016, SANKARAA has been instrumental in implementing NetSuite solutions for leading organizations including WSO2, Rocell, JoLanka, The Colombo Plan, NCCSL, Acuity, PJFM, and Stelacom.
The event showcased the latest advancements in Oracle NetSuite ERP, including powerful AI-driven enhancements and the newly upgraded NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) — an enterprise-grade data warehouse built on Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. Features such as Auto-Insights, AI Assistants, and machine learning models were highlighted for their ability to enhance data visibility, and uncover actionable trends, anomalies, and forecasts.
“As Sri Lanka enters a period of improved economic stability and progressive governance, our message is clear — NetSuite is your COMPASS for digital success,” said Siva Sankar, Director of SANKARAA Tech. “At this pivotal time, we are proud to be the only Oracle NetSuite partner in the country, enabling Sri Lankan businesses to adopt world-class cloud ERP solutions and grow.”
Adding a strong customer voice, Chamika Godamanna, Managing Director of Stelacom (Pvt) Ltd. and Honorary Treasurer of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL), shared the chamber’s digital transformation journey. He elaborated on the launch of “fromsrilanka.com”, a new business portal powered by NetSuite SuiteCommerce, designed to connect Sri Lankan suppliers with international buyers. “Oracle’s offerings for NFPs (Not-for-Profits) have been instrumental in driving this initiative forward,” he noted.
Attendees also benefited from a special session by Sanjoy Roy, Master Principal Solution Consultant at Oracle NetSuite, who shared exclusive insights into NetSuite’s AI approach. “AI isn’t just a buzzword for us — it’s been core to NetSuite from the beginning. With secure data architecture and embedded intelligence, our AI is actionable and ready for customers,” he explained.
A key highlight of the evening was the Fire Chat session, featuring two prominent NetSuite customers: Sathish Seevaaratnam (CFO, JoLanka Group) and Ryan Perera (CFO, PJFM). Their candid insights and practical experiences illustrated the transformative impact of NetSuite across industries, creating a space for authentic peer learning and deeper engagement.
SANKARAA Connect reaffirmed the company’s commitment to innovation, customer success, and ERP leadership—principles at the heart of SANKARAA’s mission to be a trusted digital transformation partner across the region.
As one of the only dedicated NetSuite-focused events in Sri Lanka, SANKARAA Connect offered attendees a unique opportunity to witness live demonstrations, interact with real users, and gain strategic insight into the evolving ERP landscape in Sri Lanka and beyond.
