Sanasa Life Insurance proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary

Sanasa Life Insurance Company Private Limited, a leading insurance service provider in the country, proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary at Sanasa Life Insurance Head Office under the patronage of Sanasa Founder, Dr. Wishwa Prasadini, P.A. Kiriwandeniya. All Sanasa branches participated in the event which was telecast live online. In addition, many other programmes had been organised at the branch level, throughout the island.

“We have achieved many landmark achievements in Sri Lanka’s insurance sector in a short period of time, and we are going to reach victory in the near future. It is notable that two new insurance plans named ‘Sihina’ and ‘Dirimaga’ were introduced today to mark our 20th anniversary. I would like to thank our clients who have trusted Sanasa Life Insurance for 20 years and all the employees from the top management who have served with great dedication.” said Sanasa Life Insurance’s Chief Executive Officer, Ivan Nicholas. A programme named ‘Ahethuka Vipas Awarana’ aimed at providing relief in the accidents faced by the villagers was launched in October, 1991 with the establishment of the All-Lanka Mutual Assurance Organisation. Sanasa Life Insurance, which was established charging as little as Rs. 05-20 per month acquired licences for life insurance and general insurance in 2003 and 2005, respectively. It is currently in the seventh place of the insurance industry with a growth rate of 90% having been reported in the second quarter of 2023, according to data from the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL). Sanasa Life Insurance has earlier bagged several awards such as those for the ‘Fastest growing insurance company in Sri Lanka’, the ‘Most sustainable micro insurance company’, and the ‘Sustainable brand of the year’.
