Deepening its relationship with the younger generation in Sri Lanka, Samsung recently gifted Galaxy A71 smartphones to the outgoing semi-finalists of ‘The Voice Teens Sri Lanka’ held on 25th and 26th July 2020. The purpose behind gifting Galaxy smartphones to the 8 incredibly talented teenagers was to help them realize their dreams through education, imagination and determination, while making them proud to have reached the semi-final stage of the competition. These outgoing semifinalists demonstrated passion for creativity and innovation which are qualities that Samsung values. Samsung remains committed to promoting youth talent in Sri Lanka to pursue their dreams and keep believing in their potential. The talented outgoing semi-finalists on the first day were Shakya Nethmi, Siyumini Opayangi, Lihini Minoda and Oluka Dinel; while on the second day, Dilmi Sachinika, Ayesh Perera, Veenath Sathsara and Yugendran Paniyarthnam were eliminated from the competition. Nevertheless all 8 contestants went home full of hope and encouragement – and their Galaxy A71 smartphones.
