Sampath Bank Powers the Battle of the Maroons as Official Banking Partner

Sampath Bank continues to drive sporting excellence in Sri Lanka as the official banking partner for the 95th Battle of the Maroons, set to take place from 28th February to 2nd March at the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) Grounds in Colombo. At a cheque handover ceremony held recently at Sampath Bank’s Head Office, Mrs. Ayodhya Iddawela Perera, Managing Director of Sampath Bank (5th from left), presented the official cheque to Mr. Mahela Jayawardena, representative of the Joint Committee of the Battle of the Maroons and former Sri Lankan Cricket Team Captain. Senior officials from Sampath Bank were also present, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of cricketers and supporting one of the most anticipated encounters in Sri Lanka’s school cricket calendar.
