Sampath Bank Enhances Customer Convenience with Relocated Currency Exchange Counter at BIA

Travellers passing through the arrivals area at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) can now enjoy enhanced accessibility with Sampath Bank’s Katunayake Pay Office (KPO) Currency Exchange Counter at a more convenient location. This initiative reflects Sampath Bank’s steadfast commitment to prioritising customer convenience and providing seamless banking experiences. The newly relocated counter, designed to meet the evolving needs of travellers, was officially declared open at a special event attended by Senior Deputy General Manager of Operations and Branch Banking, Deepal De Silva, Chief Manager of Operations, Janaka Karunaratne and Manager Airport Branch, Charith Wijemanna. The relocation, following instructions from Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited (AASL), ensures greater ease for travellers in accessing essential currency exchange services.
