Simply because a talent you are born with, can be enhanced with the right training, experience and exposure. With the aim of shedding light on talents and letting them grow to their full potential, home-grown public relations agency Nehemiah Consultants launches its own unique Talent Management Agency “Role Models”.
In a modern tech savvy world, we see a distinct shift from traditional marketing techniques to more new age tools that give brands more authenticity and the ability to create more emotional connections with its consumers. Many brands have succeeded in this area by simply engaging in the right communications methods. One of the growing trends is working with content creators who embody the life and soul of a brand. “We are not a regular talent management company or an agent who just represents celebrities. What we are is a hybrid model that acts as the bridge between the brand and the content creator. For years we have been working with celebrities from sports personalities to performing artists and even youth platforms that provide opportunities to the younger generation to find sponsorships and help them secure funding for enhancing their talents or competing on local and international stages. We felt though that the time was right to introduce a proper agent-type model that benefits not just the talent/creator but also the brands that associate themselves with them”, said Founder of Role Models and Content Director of Nehemiah Consultants Nishu Gunawardana.
Role Models also works with a pool of talent like Emcees, Voice-Over Artists, Writers, Artists, Models and many more to help them secure projects. The talent pool includes well known celebrities, beauty queens, sports personalities, radio and TV presenters, musicians, actors, and everyday Sri Lankans who may not have the opportunity or platforms to display their skills.

When we picked the name for the company as well, I strongly believe it was divine because what I wanted was to have people who are not just models but role models who carry unique personalities and gifts”, Gunawardana added.
