Regenta Arie Lagoon, Negombo, a part of Royal Orchid Hotels Limited was voted as “Best Offshore Resort for MICE and Wedding” at the Indian Travel Awards held on July 25 at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi. The event was convened to recognize outstanding contributions and achievements by hotels and individuals in the travel sector. Royal Orchid Hotels India owning and operating over 97 Hotels in 58 locations in India with over 5500 Rooms and expanding their footprint globally took over the management of Arie Lagoon in Pamunugama Road, Thalahena, Negombo for a 20-year period.

Vice President International Hotels Utarsh Faujdar who is looking after the Regenta Arie Lagoon said their management took over the Negombo property and rebranded it as Regenta Arie Lagoon making it their first overseas venture. “It was the perfectly built and marinated Banquets and MICE facilities that attracted our management to invest in this hotel.
