The ‘Amami’ brand belonging to Ranyan Industries (Private) Limited was honoured with the Best Hotel Services Provider Award at the Lanka Business Awards organized by the Business World International Organization (BWIO).   The award was presented to the board of directors led by Ranil de Silva, the founder of the company and the creator of the Amami brand at a grand ceremony held at the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo.

Ranyan Industries under its Amami Brand (www.hotelsupplies.lk) was the first in Sri Lanka to manufacture and supply a comprehensive Amenity Kit for the leisure tourist hotel sector. It currently manufactures a wide range of ayurvedic and natural herbal products including air fresheners, shampoo, shower gel, tooth paste, glycerin soap, fragrance bars, and all types of detergents and cleaning material.  Ranyan Industries (0777576639), and its Amami product range have today reached significant milestones despite the journey being a difficult one with numerous obstacles. With many accolades and accomplishments under its belt it is today a sought-after brand by the tourist industry as a whole because of its refined natural ingredients. Their exclusive customers range from the basic resort hotels to the more luxurious boutique Villas and include Jetwing, Ramada, Galle Face, Anantaya etc. The company prides itself in having the ability to manufactures all its products using locally procured raw materials, and in providing employment to a staff cadre exceeding 60 skilled and unskilled men and women at its fully-fledged factory in Kadawatha

“It is with pride, joy and a sense of great achievement that I accept this award on behalf of the Amami Team. This is a strong affirmation that hard work and dedication can indeed contribute to success. My entrepreneurial journey was a volatile one. One with many hurdles to overcome and many make shift bridges to cross over turbulent waters. Overcome them we did slowly but steadily and today I can proudly state that the journey spanning three decades have enabled our brand and its product range not only to receive local and international accreditation such as SLS, ISO and GMP but also to achieve excellence in recognition. As much as I have now taken a back seat in the business and  permitted my daughter Harshala and my son Ranuka to steer the company forward, this recognition will no doubt motivate the entire team to elevate the Amami brand and products to greater heights in quality and standards. I must also place on record that the one constant foundation behind my success was my wife  Dr. Priyani De Silva who was a continues pillar of strength and courage in all my endeavors. Finally my undying gratitude and thanks to my dedicated staff and our loyal customers and clients without whom this achievement could not have been possible and of course Revo Advertising who have contributed much to our growth and achievements.” Ranil de Silva said.
