Playwright Rajib Moni Das gets Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) Star Award

Rajib Moni Das Receives AJFB Star Award--26 nov (LBN)
The Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) has awarded playwright Rajib Moni Das with the ATN Bangla-AJFB Star Award.
In the AJFB Star Award 2023-2024, Rajib Moni Das has been honored as the best playwright. The Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) organized a grand ceremony on Sunday 26 May 2024, at the ATN Bangla Auditorium of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) to recognize outstanding contributions in various branches of culture, presenting lifetime honors and awards.



The event organized by the Artist Journalist Foundation of Bangladesh (AJFB) was attended by chief guest Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Chairman of ATN Bangla and ATN News, and renowned film director Kazi Hayat. During the event, Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman presented the Best Playwright Award to Rajib Moni Das for his special contributions to the field of drama.
Rajib Moni Das expressed his gratitude by respectfully greeting and thanking everyone present for deciding to honor him. He also extended his continuous love to his countless well-wishers.
Regarding the honor, he further stated that an honor is a commemorative recognition of a person’s work, which encourages them to perform better and increases their responsibility towards their work. He committed to contributing to meeting the expectations of everyone and the audience.
The event was also attended by former successful Railway Minister Mujibul Haque Mujib, AJFB’s founding president Abul Hossain Majumder, AJFB President Faruq Hossain Majumder, General Secretary actor Nirab, among many others.
The ceremony awarded lifetime honors and recognition for outstanding contributions in various cultural branches. Lifetime honors were awarded to theater and film personality Dilara Zaman and music personality Ferdous Wahid.
Special honors were received by film personalities Rozina, Shabnam Parvin, Amit Hasan, Nirab Hossain, Elina Shammi, Shirin Shila, and singer Balam.
