Home-grown technology start-up PayMaster Solutions, recently donated reload facilities of 250,000 LKR in value, to the dedicated staff at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH). The donation is intended as a salute of appreciation to the front-line staff fighting the Covid19′ pandemic in the country, by putting the public’s safety and health above their own while sacrificing precious time with their own loved ones.

The free reload facility gives the staff members at IDH convenient and continued access to a stream of communication with their loved ones without having to leave the hospital premises, especially at a time such as this when breaks from the hospital have become extremely rare for them.

Commenting on this initiative, PayMaster Solutions CEO Mr. Ransika De Silva, “We are extremely appreciative of the hardworking, engaged staff at IDH for their selfless service to the country and public during this difficult time period. This initiative is our way of thanking them by enabling them to keep in touch with their own loved ones, without having to think of the financial commitment nor the extra time attached to it. We wanted to gift them with this convenience.”

The 100% homegrown and locally-managed mobile application PayMaster, enables individuals to reload their mobile numbers from any network or make utility payments such as water, electricity and telephone bills from the comfort of their homes.

When prevailing curfew measures tightly set around the island has left the public confined to their homes, the PayMaster mobile app offers an effective solution to keeping in touch with their loved ones while also ensuring their bill payments are up to date. Users can even send reloads to their friends and family, and pay for these with any credit or debit card.

PayMaster solutions is also fully geared to extend its payment facilities to suit the needs of corporates, most of whom are required to work from home and are therefore in need of streamlined payment solutions. With over 100,000 users around the island, the PayMaster App is fully committed to providing their users with a 24/7 service facility, during this critical period in the country due to the Covid19′ pandemic.

Operational in all three languages of English, Sinhala & Tamil, PayMaster adheres to the ‘Guidelines on Minimum Compliance Standards for Payment Related Mobile Applications’ as outlined by Central Bank of Ceylon (CBSL).
