Orzone Mineral Water Exports, a leading drinking water bottling company in Sri Lanka, has constructed a new police post in the Ella tourist area. This police post is uniquely equipped with facilities designed to ensure the convenience and safety of both local and foreign tourists visiting Ella. It features amenities such as electric fans, lights, clocks, water filters, chairs, tables, and updated train and bus timetables. The opening ceremony of the police post was attended by Orzone Mineral Water Exports Marketing Director Neil N. Senarath, Finance Director Aruna Senarath, General Manager Sampath Weragoda, and several others.
The Officer-In-Charge of the Ella Police Station expressed that the newly constructed police post is a significant improvement over the old, dilapidated facility, providing much-needed convenience. Dr. Upul B. Senarath, Chairman and Managing Director of Orzone Group, emphasised that they fully embrace corporate social responsibility, regularly contributing to social welfare activities. He described this initiative as another important milestone in their annual social welfare programmes.
