Omega Line Toastmasters Club wins an exceptional Corporate Award

Omega Line Toastmasters Club of Omega Line Ltd, a renowned apparel exporter in Sri Lanka affiliated with the Italy-based Calzedonia Group (now known as Oniverse), was recognized with a special Corporate Award at the 2023/2024 Annual District 82 Toastmasters Conference in recognition of its unwavering commitment towards uplifting their employees and contributing to Toastmasters, making it one of the only two esteemed organizations to been awarded such.

 



 

During the event, Omega Line CEO and Managing Director Felix Fernando was awarded by Toastmasters’ International President Morag Mathieson, who was in Sri Lanka recently to grace the occasion which celebrated 100 years of Toastmasters International and 40 years of District 82 Toastmasters. Further, Mathieson acknowledged the company’s outstanding contributions and leadership in the community.

In addition to the special corporate recognition, Omega Line Toastmasters Club was also crowned with the Golden Gavel award. Omega Line Toastmasters Club is also no stranger to the Golden Gavel, Toastmasters’ most prestigious award which has been presented annually since 1959 to an individual distinguished in the fields of communication and leadership, having achieved it four times previously. Further, it was also bestowed with the 8-80 Award in recognition of its member retention and clinched an award for the highest membership addition.
