For the first time in Sri Lanka, OMED Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd. hosted the mesoestetic® conference and workshop for dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the country. On Sunday the 14th of May, over 35 of the most established aesthetic medical consultants from across the island convened at the Hilton Residences to learn from the global leader in the aesthetic medicine sector of the latest innovations in the field of depigmentation, peelings, intradermal solutions, and fillers, and also of how to implement these into their own practice.
Testament to its commitment to the training and updating of medical consultants across the world, the multinational pharmaceutical company had renowned international speaker, physician, and author, Dr. Gabriel Ayala Velazquez, conducting the event. In addition to presenting the most recent advances and studies conducted with the company solutions, Dr. Ayala also announced the launch of a ground breaking new medical device to be introduced and implemented across aesthetic centres in Sri Lanka. The MCT injector brings together two complementary techniques -mesotherapy and carboxytherapy- which can be used as a complete tool to perform multiple facial and body treatments painlessly and safely.
“The effectiveness of mesoestetic® treatments is recognised by medical aestheticians the world over, and through the success of this conference we’ve recorded a keen interest by practitioners in Sri Lanka as well,” said Shervin Mario Lindsay, Chairman, OMED Pharmaceuticals. “Additionally, with the launch of the MCT Injector, and the flexibility it brings to both skincare professionals and their patients, we predict a greater demand for mesoestetic® skincare from Sri Lankan consumers.”
Dedicated to research and development, mesoestetic® solutions include home, professional, and aesthetic medical treatments, all of which have proven results endorsed by numerous scientific studies and are developed through research, innovation and collaboration with top specialists in the sector from across the world.
