20th of June 2023. Colombo, Sri Lanka: Reputed for its digital transport solutions in Sri Lanka, Oki Doki expanded its horizons with the launch of its overseas operations in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 8th of June 2023. The momentous occasion was celebrated in Jakarta with exciting Lankan-Indonesian fusion events coupled with raffle draws with valuable attractive prizes such as iPhones, Galaxy watches, return air tickets to Sri Lanka and many more exciting gifts. The event witnessed the presence of the Senior Leadership teams from Oki Doki, Expolanka Holdings PLC and EFL Global and existing and potential customers converging in Jakarta to celebrate the milestone.

Indonesia was selected by Oki Doki as the first location to establish its overseas footprint because of its growing demand for tech driven transportation solutions on account of its congested roads, where cargo transportation is usually tracked manually. The lack of live visibility often gives rise to delays and thus Oki Doki believes its digital transport services can be a real asset for the nation’s logistics and transport challenges. By using enhanced tech-driven visibility that is tailor-made and adapted to local urban infrastructure along with convenience historical data tracking and unique industry insights, Oki Doki believes it can streamline the distribution process for many industries in Indonesia. The company currently provides bespoke digitalized transport solutions for domestic and import/export movements in Sri Lanka for industries such as apparel, FMCG, healthcare, beverage and cold chain.

Some of Oki Doki’s unique products are its specialized Fleet Management Services to ensure a seamless process, backed by its uniquely developed TMS (Transport Management System), professional operations team and 24×7 Monitoring Center; ensuring visibility and accessibility to clients from pick up to delivery. This unique monitoring system additionally enables access to driver information, vehicle details, live location and more. Historical data is also stored and can be accessed anywhere, anytime. The Operations team; equipped with over 15 years of industry experience in a cross-section of diverse sectors, and the Central Monitoring Centre tracks every vehicular movement from loading to transporting and finally ensuring the vehicle reaches its final destination safely.

Commenting on the milestone event, CEO,  Shashi Gunathilaka said, “Oki Doki believes it is ideally positioned to offer end-to-end transportation solutions to provide a seamless experience in Indonesia, backed by our tech-driven, convenient, transparent solutions.
