A special telefilm ‘Mayer Ichcha’ written by Rajib Moni Das and directed by Naznin Hasan Khan has recently been produced. Golam Kibria Tanveer, Rezmin Setu, Reshma Ahmed, Shafiq Khan Dilu, Shahela Akhter, Nithor Mahbub, Tabassum Mithila, Farid Hossain played various roles in the drama. The telefilm aired on Channel i TV on 25 October 2024 Friday at 3 pm.
Story Summary: Latif has been working in agriculture since his father’s death. With his long work experience, he is now a role model for the common people of the village. Firoza searches for a good bride in different villages. Latif goes to see the bride. Firoza likes to Rima at their first meet. Because Firoza could not study as a child but Rima has a strong desire to do something good with the light of education. Preferring Rima’s words, Firoza Begum arranges marriage with her son Latif.
So many incidents start happening around Rima’s studies, so she decides not to study anymore. But Firoza Begum is not willing to let her son’s wife drop out of college. Rima’s college days continue passing through various incidents. Once Rima’s exam is over, her result is out and she clears the exam with good marks.
On behalf of the people of the village, Rima made recommendations from various government departments and arranged for the development of their village. Starting from the road makes a lot of progress. Once upon a time the people of the village broke the mistake. They later understand that the world is dark without the light of education.
Director Naznin Hasan Khan said, ‘The story is my favourite, a family story. It has been constructed with great care. I like to work when I get a good story. I am hopeful that the telefilm based on a family-society-centric story will be liked by all sections of the audience.
