Naznin Hasan Khan has been awarded the Best Director title at the TRAB Awards 2024. She has been honored for her contributions to the television industry, where she has been actively involved in writing, directing, and producing dramas for over a decade. The TRAB (Television Reporters Association of Bangladesh) Award is recognition of her excellence in the field of television drama.
The award ceremony for the 25th TRAB Awards 2024 was held on Saturday, November 23, at a hotel in Bijoynagar, Dhaka. Naznin Hasan Khan received the prestigious Best Director award for her exceptional direction in the special telefilm Maayer Ischha (Mother’s Wish), written by Rajib Moni Das. The award was given in recognition of her outstanding directorial skills.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including Syed Margub Morshed, former Information Secretary; Bir Muktijoddha Mir Hasmat Ali, Judge at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh; Dr. Jahangir Alam Rustam, renowned environmental scientist and world-class poet; Kamrul Hasan Darpan, President of Bangladesh Cine Journalist Association (BCJA); Shafiqur Rahman, Chairman of BBN News, among others.
During the ceremony, the prestigious Best Director award was presented to Naznin Hasan Khan by the renowned film personality Kazi Hayat, Syed Margub Morshed, and Mir Hasmat Ali. Expressing her gratitude towards the distinguished guests, Naznin Hasan Khan said, “I am deeply honored and thankful to everyone for bestowing this recognition upon me. My love and passion for my work have always been there, and today it has only grown stronger. I do not like to limit myself to any specific boundary. I always work with the audience in mind, and I will continue to maintain that approach in the future. I aim to create stories that are diverse and full of variety.”
