National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 to accept applications till July 15

BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka Section announces that applications for the National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 will be open till 15th July. This year, the most awaited awards event in its 24th edition, will yet again recognize the outstanding achievements in terms of ICT related products and services developed by individuals and organizations. The judging process of the NBQSA 2022 is set to commence in the month of August and the Awards ceremony will be held on 4th November 2022. The winners of the NBQSA are then nominated to compete at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA).

Commenting on the awards event, Mr. Sanharsha Jayatissa, Chairman, National ICT Awards – NBQSA 2022 said, “We are eagerly looking forward to this prestigious awards ceremony and what it has in store for this year. Over the years, it has served the ICT industry by recognizing the best ICT innovations and providing due support for the participants. The previous awards events have received much applause from the ICT professionals and we have witnessed an increase in the number of applicants each year. This year too, we expect a large number of applicants with their unique ICT products and services which will contribute to the development of the industry.”

Mr. Vajeendra Kandegamage, Chairman of BCS stated, “NBQSA is a platform specifically aimed to elevate the country’s ICT products and innovations that reach the international standards. It lays the groundwork for individuals and organizations to showcase their innovations and receive the recognition they deserve. It is with immense pride we state that the participants of the previous awards competitions have achieved greater heights within the industry. We at BCS, as usual have strived hard to make this awards event successful and are looking forward uplift the country’s economy.
