MullenLowe Group appoints Nishant Mehta as Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer

The MullenLowe Group (MLG) Sri Lanka announced the senior appointment of Mr. Nishant Mehta as VP & Chief Strategy Officer from 1 January 2025. The announcement signals the group’s intention to further strengthen its Strategic Offering by appointing a senior brand strategist. The depth and diversity of Nishant’s experience complement MLG’s large and diverse portfolio of brands.
 



 

With a career spanning key markets including India, China, Dubai, and Malaysia, Nishant brings a wealth of cross-category expertise. His background includes work on leading brands in personal care, home care, food and beverage, automotive, retail, and finance, including work with notable brands like Unilever, Britannia, Carlsberg, IKEA, McDonald’s, Estée Lauder, Nissan, and Tata Motors.

Nishant’s career includes senior roles at prominent global agency networks, including FCB, Leo Burnett, Grey, and Mindshare, where he most recently served as Head of Strategy. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Mandarin.

Commenting on the appointment of Nishant, Thayalan Bartlett – Executive Chairman of the MullenLowe Group, Sri Lanka said, “A year-long regional search for the right candidate ended with the appointment of Nishant as Chief Strategy Officer of MLG. As a member of our senior leadership team, he will further bolster our strategy and creative offering.  Nishant has been tasked to set up a knowledge hub for brands and categories and will form a team under him to provide our clients and their brands with a strategic offering unparalleled to any other using data and analytics.”
