Mobitel held its latest Cash Bonanza event at Dehiattakandiya amidst record crowds, the only gala loyalty rewards scheme of its kind in the country. Since inception, Mobitel Cash Bonanza has gifted over 30 luxury vehicles, making its mark as the most anticipated and valuable loyalty reward scheme in Sri Lanka.

A brand new Mercedes Benz car was gifted to the Cash Bonanza Winner Chandima Kumari of Welpala, Kurunegala whilst Wasantha Pradeep from Beruwela bagged the runner up with Rs. 1 Million in cash and Nadesan Nandakumaran of Nuwara Eliya was gifted Rs. 500,000. Simultaneously, Mobitel conducted several CSR initiatives, including a free clinic to check eyes and blood pressure; and distributed 1,000 eyeglasses amongst ‘Upahara’ customers. The National Identity Card registration kiosk at the carnival was yet another thoughtful gesture by Mobitel. For the first time ever in the history of the Cash Bonanza Carnival, Mobitel invited visitors to bring their E-waste along, such as old computers, mobile phone batteries, printers etc, for Mobitel to collect and dispose/recycle as per the environmental regulations. Mobitel expects to make a positive impact on the environment by leveraging on the popularity of the Cash Bonanza Event run throughout the year island wide.
