Mobitel Cash Bonanza illuminates Dehiattakandiya

Brining excitement and joy to the people around the country, Mobitel successfully concluded its eagerly-anticipated Cash Bonanza event in Dehiattakandiya recently. The town’s Mahaweli Grounds came alive as residents in and around the area thronged to the venue to enjoy the carnival-like atmosphere of the high profile event. The highlight of the event was the handing over of a Mercedes Benz car to Cash Bonanza Winner Chandima Kumari of Welpala, Kurunegala. In second place, Wasantha Pradeep of Beruwela walked away with Rs. 1 Million in cash while Nadesan Nandakumaran of Nuwara Eliya, placed third, was gifted Rs. 500,000 as cash prize.

Every year, 4 brand new Mercdes Benz cars are given to loyal Mobitel customers along with millions of cash prizes. In addition to the above, this time in Dehiattakandiya, Mobitel invited visitors to the Cash Bonanza to bring their E-waste along, such as old computers, mobile phone batteries, printers etc. Mobitel’s E-waste stall will collect E-waste and dispose/recycle as per the environmental regulations to minimize any negative impact on the environment through improper disposal. Considering the vast reach, popularity and influence of the Cash Bonanza event, Mobitel expects to make a big impact in this area by inculcating a responsible attitude towards managing E-waste in a manner that does not harm the environment.

All prepaid, post-paid and broadband connection recharge or bill payment of 50 Rupees automatically gets qualified for the Mobitel Cash Bonanza draw. The customers with pre-paid connections would be entitled for an equal talk time reflective of the amount won and post-paid connections are entitled to receive a discount from the consecutive bill reflective of the amount won. The winners would be contacted by post and through the Mobitel customer care hotline     071 27 55 777 with no extra charges levied for any of the prizes won.
