Micro Electric International honored at National Industry Excellence awards

Micro Electric International (Pvt) Ltd, a Sri Lankan manufacturer and exporter of electrical products and accessories under the Divolca brand was honored for their contribution in the export sector at the National industry brand excellence award on Friday. The company set up over three decades ago now owns and operates two electrical manufacturing factories in India to bring back froing exchange to Sri Lanka was awarded a Merit award for this endeavor in the Large Scale Electrical and Electronic and Allied industrial sector.

An ISO certified company Micro Electric International had won many awards including the best ‘SME Brand of the Year’ Founded by Dhammika Samarawickrama and Kumari Samarawickrama in 1995, Micro Electric International (Pvt) Ltd is a family-owned enterprise in Sri Lanka. Over the past twenty-seven years, the company has steadily grown into an international supplier of electrical products and accessories under the brand name “Divolca” Here Micro Electric International Chairman Dhammika Samarawickrama and Deputy Chairman Kumari Samarawickrama are seen receiving the award from the Chief Guest Minister of Industries, Sunil Handunnetti at the event held after a long lapse in Eagle’s Lakeside Attidiya.
