Michelin Sri Lanka Celebrates International Women’s Day

Colombo, Tuesday 25 March 2025: On International Women’s Day, Michelin Sri Lanka felicitated 150 female team members in a heartfelt event, highlighting the invaluable contributions of women across the organization.

Inspiring speeches from the guest of honour Ashcharya Peiris Jayakody, Sri Lanka’s first visually-impaired fashion designer and company leaders gave life to the year’s theme “’Accelerating Action for Diversity”.

 



 

The day concluded with a workshop sharing valuable insights to help support the navigation of professional and personal journeys as women.

Michelin’s celebration of International Women’s Day reflects its ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the workplace, the importance of adequate female representation in all roles in the company, including leadership roles and the need for continued efforts toward equality and collective intelligence.
