The Mercantile Volleyball Tournament will begin on the 7th of September at the National Youth Centre in Maharagama, with an opening ceremony followed by the first of the preliminary matches. Organized by the Mercantile Volleyball Association, the aim of the tournament is to popularize the national sport and to widen interest in the game in the mercantile sector.
