LSEG appoints Dee Liyanwela as Group Head of LSEG Technology Sri Lanka

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has announced today that Dee Liyanwela has been appointed as the Head of LSEG Technology Sri Lanka, in addition to his role as Group Head of Shared Service Centres. LSEG Technology, formerly known as MillenniumIT, develops and operates high performance technology solutions, including trading, market surveillance and post trade systems for over 40 organisations and exchanges around the world, including the Group’s own markets.

Liyanwela joined LSEG in 2013 and has been pivotal in implementing the Group’s off-shoring and near-shoring strategies. He was previously an Executive Director of LCH, a leading global clearing house and was responsible for Listed Derivatives, Equities and Fixed Income Technology. Liyanwela brings over 20 years of experience in building technology platforms, managing various technology functions and delivering services via global delivery centres.
