Local Helmet Manufacturer Lends Their Share to COVID-19 Control

Sri Lanka’s benchmark manufacturer, H.H.CO Industries Pvt Ltd lending their share to the national drive to arrest the transmission of COVID-19 epidemic this morning (24) gifted 400 safety helmets for use among tri service personnel, engaged in the COVID-19 prevention and quarantine work.

After meeting Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army at the Army HQ, two representatives of the donor-company handed over the stock to the Army Chief.

The particular helmet fitted with visor was also earlier gifted to health officials too, according to the donors. Visors thus given can be reused by cleaning them with sanitizers.

Mr Chinthaka Sanjeewa Ganegoda of H.H.CO Industries Pvt Ltd, Mr M.K.M Saranga Welagedara, Marketing Manager of H.H.CO Industries Pvt Ltd were there to deliver the stock.
