April 02, 2025: Lina Manufacturing Limited, the pharmaceutical manufacturing arm of Sunshine Holdings PLC, unveiled its new brand identity – a powerful logo that reflects the company’s evolution, vision, and commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare solutions.
The new logo marks a significant milestone in Lina’s brand journey, symbolising a new beginning with a modern identity that stays true to the company’s core purpose. The design integrates the forms of a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) and a capsule, reinforcing Lina’s role as a pioneering local pharmaceutical manufacturer. A spiral, derived from the Sunshine Holdings corporate logo, embodies the energy of the sun, representing life, growth, connection and vitality. The teal colour palette was carefully chosen to reflect clarity, calmness and openness, while also conveying charm and sophistication.
Sunshine Holdings Group CEO Shyam Sathasivam said, “This is a proud day for all of us at Sunshine Holdings. Three years ago, our journey with Lina began, and since then, we have reached noteworthy milestones. This new identity represents Lina’s readiness to lead that transformation – not just through advanced technology and quality products, but through a renewed purpose to serve the people of Sri Lanka with dedication and excellence.”
During the last financial year, Lina Manufacturing achieved a revenue of LKR 4 billion and produced over 3 million MDI units, a testament to its critical role in ensuring respiratory care accessibility for Sri Lankans.
